Well everybody on here who is calling for a new coach or AD, please say who you want as replacements and stop just blowing smoke. We cant do any better than what we have so get used to it. It will take patience to be able to compete in the Big 12. I dont expect anything until next year at the earliest.

Besides, even a mediocre NU team is usually better than a decent ISU team. Thats why we havent been them in Lincoln since the 70's

If you think that a mediocre NU team is better than a good ISU team that is just plain stupid!! I am frustasted as hell right now as is every other fan on here. I want wins soooo badly that I get really upset when we do not get one. It may not seem that way with some comments I have made, but I want them to just hit teams in the mouth and win badly for the kids on this team!! As a long time fan I am tired of taking my lumps and not giving any back, I am sure the coaches feel the same way. Next week is another week and hopefully we knuckle down and play not touch football, but tackle and hit them in the mouth football come on players do not take crap from anyone!!!!!

I'm sorry I'm sure this was already covered but I got t get it off my chest. I am officially done with season tickets after today, we are so far from being competitive it's ridiculous. I bought into the whole support the team speech from Pollard. Now, I want results for my dollar. I know your all going to rip on me but seriously come on with the way the economy is going I'm sure I'm not the only one that is not going to re-up. I want results and honestly we were one tackle away from being shut out today, a week ago we got stomped by frickin Baylor, I'm done! I'll still tailgate but there is no way I'm going in, I'll sell my tickets for the last games. We suck, period. I'm going back to scalping before the game. If I wanted to put my money in crap I'd invest in port-a-potties.

that is awesome man. 1.5 years into a new coaching regime and you are out. Hell, mac got 10 years. If you were a fan of iowa, kansas state, kansas, missouri, texas tech, or any number of other teams at the time of a key coaching change in the not too distant past you would have bailed before getting to see some of the schools best football ever. I know how we get good REALLY fast. All of us season ticket holders bail now, that will help A TON!

Wow, Im going to have to say I for one wont miss you. There was a "fan" like you behind me during the game, talking about how he had better things to do today and better ways to spend his money. Go for it. Someone will fill in your seat.

It was pretty loud as the team went in for the half. I was near our football recruits, and I'm pretty sure that seeing our fans booing our team (primarily the coaching staff) for taking a knee at the end of the first half reflects pretty badly.

Oh wait, yeah I did hear some of that. Forgot about taking the knee. Booing your own team is a lack of class. People can ***** about the husker and hawk fans all they want to, but we stoop that low too.

I am tired of this ***** *** game we are playing right now. This team does not have any fire underneath of them what so ever or any killer instinct like I thought they would have with Coach Chizik. Nothing has changed in the past few years like I thought. Pollard needs to go!!! along with his pipe dreams!! I will not spend any more money on games after today, period!!! and I am a long time fan, but when this crap keeps happening it is the coaches.

I don't doubt but if we keep this up we will never be able to bowl in the endzone. Do you really see our perfomances helping our season ticket sales at all? You guys can hate on me all you want but if you take a step back and check us out you have to admit we are lightyears away from being competative in the north let alone in the Big 12. And we aren't exactly the recruting hotbed of the nation. I mean come on Baylor had a true freshmen at QB working with guys that were 5 games into a new system, and we got worked. I want to win just as bad as you guys, apparently maybe a little more, why should we always have to put up with mediocre teams at best. Is it wrong for me to want to win when I pay for 2 tickets and donate on top of it. I'm sorry if that is asking for to much.

I completely realize this team is not as good as we'd all like, but I will still spend my Saturday afternoons with Iowa State football because I'm a fan of the program. Win or lose, I will still support the program in every way I can.

Last time I checked we've been losing for more than a year and a half. I never said anything about Chizik. How about all the years my old man had season tickets before I was old enough to really appreciate it. You take out the two years with Seneca and the last with Sage, and we really haven't done crap for a long time.

I ask one question and it's just purely for information...did you suffer through the early 90s? I wasn't around for them, but THOSE were some HORRIBLE Iowa State teams judging by stats and other's opinions. If you could support through those, this should be a cakewalk...

I've supported them my whole life, I'm only 29 but I've been going to games forever. Maybe it just hurts more now cuz I'm the one floating the bill for the last 10 of it. I'm not asking for National Championships, but I don't think 9 win season is too much to ask for, honestly I would kill for one. The thing to me that's most disappointing is that it seems that we are regressing every game.

I entered college fall of 1991. I know bad ISU football. People complaining about GC and JP, give me a break. I would like to take some more chances on offense as well as defense. I don't mind mistakes when your team is playing to win.

That being said, there wasn't much talent left from DMac. That is a fact. Hardly none of our stars are jr's or sr's, what does that tell you? GC is trying to build a program. He could have sold out and gotten a bunch of juco's and tried to win quick and bold, but it looks like he is trying to build something here. There is a reason they say patience is a virtue.

Don't get me wrong, I HATE losing. I was not happy with the effort today. We got outcoached and outplayed. Nebraska is nothing special. Sorry. I am upset that nobody showed any fire or urgency on our sideling. That has to change.
