We may not be able to stop the run, but 35 points?

Last years defensive line couldn't stop Trey Watts. Cody Green isn't very good, but he brings two things to the table that Kollmorgen and Rudock did not. The first being that he can run. This gives them the threat of the read option, which is something this young defense will not be prepared for. The second that he has beaten ISU... twice. He knows how we operate and that experience will not be good for us.

i can understand where you question my 5 TD prediction, but we made David Johnson and Mark Weisman look like man killers. Those are two pretty good runningbacks. Trey Watts is on their level or higher. They won't even need to throw the ball. For that reason, I could see it being worse than 35 points.

I can understand thinking our offense won't score much but the defense giving up 35? That makes our defense worse than Bowling Green and Colorado State. Iowa averaged 3.6 yards per rush against us which isn't too bad considering that is their whole philosophy against us. That and that fact that it wasn't Weisman that got them those yards, it was the offensive line that has two pros on it.

Giving up what we did against UNI on the ground was terrible but we clearly showed progress of shoring that up against Iowa.

We got problems on this team but the defensive side of the ball isn't part of it.

I think the senior leadership of George, Broomfield, and Washington will bring a focused group to Tulsa. They don't want to be embarrassed and start out 0-3. Both teams will be coming off a bye week.

People have been saying this every week. Wont believe it till I see it. Just accept the fact that our defense sucks. Cant stop the run. Tulsa should not throw the ball much this game.

27-21 Tulsa. We throw two TDs late in the 4th Q to try and catch up.

ISU wins by forfeit, Tulsa forgets the game is on Thursday and doesn't show up. CPR hopes that Texas has the same problem to get ISU back to .500

Weisman is a workhorse. He isn't going to break for 30, 40, or 50, he's gonna get 3 yards on every carry. That's what he's best at. The fact that everyone knew on every 3rd or 4th and short that he was gonna get the ball, and he got it every time, just shows why this quote is so wrong.

As a member of "Keepers of the Faith" I believe we will win.
I don't care about the score, we just need enough points to win.
I just feel that alot of you have poor self-esteem issues.
You are only happy if everyone is as miserable as you are.
Your self-worth is based on someone else's success?
For you, your team has to win and everbody else has to lose to be happy.

ISU wins 3-2

Tulsa scores a safety when we run Woody on a slow developing zone read play out of the endzone

This time its not on the offense. Instead we are plagued by special teams play and our bad D.

Have you seen this Tulsa team play? You know that they lost almost their whole offensive and defensive lines right? They have struggled a lot to even move the ball.
