No kidding. There's no way I was 145 in jr high even. Tipped the scales at 297 when I played OL in college. Was down to 213 a few years ago and would like to get to that point again. I'm not super tall, but have to admit I looked damn good at 6'2 213.

Yeah, I'm 6'2 240 right now and I need to get down to at least 215.

Great, so I'm going to have to wait until the kids are involved in school activities to have sex with sun up?

Awesome. That will be in like 10 years.

We've gotten pretty creative in the past, so we will have to up our game.

We once went down to the garage and did it in the car while the kids colored at the kitchen table. That could work for a while longer.

A few months ago, we were upstairs doing our thing, and my eldest son said he had heard some noises.

He said he thought he heard our dog jumping around, but she was in the kenel.

I told him that mommy and daddy were upstairs cleaning.

He bought it, but he's pretty smart and that's not going to work much longer.

Why are you hiding? Let 'em watch. How else are they going to learn?

I am 5'9 165 and could lose 10 lbs and be perfectly fine. My wife is 5'4 105 lbs. God Bless her.

Oh Ellen, you and your same sex partner must be so cute together.

My wife was 5'4 115 once. Having kids sucks, but she's carrying it pretty well and she keeps my motor running. Probably the best workout I get sometimes.

New confession.

I want to beat the crap out of cycarob.

Unless of course he finds a way to bottle his metabolism and lets me have some of it.

I have never been able to keep my weight down without diet and excercise and you **** me off. Punk.

Hey now... Tailg8er wanted a weight gain story, so I gave him one. Now i'll go back to finishing off a sleeve of girl scout cookies while laughing at people with slow metabolisms as they get angry at me.

I'm also working on eating a little healthier and getting more exercise. I tend to gain weight in the winter. Last year, I lost about ten pounds in March/April then gained it all back this winter.

Try 6'3". Trust me, it's not because I don't eat a lot. My friends have nicknamed me the "Black hole". And i'm a junior in college...

Similar situation.

Caloric intake to maintain w/ no physical activity (other than average day's worth of walking) = 2800 calories.

Metabolism FTW!!

I got down to 215 last summer and it came back with a vengence.

While fun, trying to have kids can be stressful.

My wife and I have been going through this for some time now, so I guess that is my confession. I have come to the realization that we will most likely not have children, but it has understandably been more difficult for her.

Just be there for each other, even if she says you don't understand what it is like for her (because she is right - you don't). And get ready for the emotional roller coaster every time she sees a pregant woman or a baby at the store, or every time one of her friends on facebook gets pregnant.

Pretty much it has come to the decision of whether we want to just be child-free or adopt, which can be expensive. Fertility treatment is not an option for us, as insurance doesn't cover it.

Best of luck to you and your wife. Do not forget that the number one reason that you married each other is not because you wanted children (even though you do want them) but because you love one another and want to spend your lives together.

I thought you were giving up alcohol for lent or did I miss this confession

You are correct. For this time period, and this time period alone, my 12 oz curls are pop-based. The rest of the year, they are beer-based.

The lady friend is staying this weekend...and shes bringing me lots of Abrasive from Surly. I'm not sure which I'm more excited about.

Also, a school related confession. I pooped my pants Tuesday after lunch. I had no prior symptoms, just thought I would let it rip and instead made a mess. Luckily I had on black pants. Spent the last period of the day with no boxers and walking funny. It was a pretty rotten day.

That's what you get for trying to fart with the kids!

Weight isn't the thing to solely focus on. Different bodies shapes and configurations make a difference. I was my healthiest right out of college, I cut the fat and worked out hard. I was 5 11 and weighed 190. Had a 44 coat and 31 pants, everything had to be custom fit.

Want to go back to a 34 pant so that would probably put me at 200 area. 20 years makes a lot of difference.

I listen to Nickleback and don't mind their music. I also don't understand the hate for them

They love Dave Mathews band either because they are huge potheads or they lost their virginity while listening to Crash Into Me in highschool.

I like RUSH because I am a nerd. I blame my brother though. He is 8 years older than me and I stole all of his RUSH music. They were a very good band but I can understand why they don't appeal to everyones tastes.

I really liked Dave Matthews Band for a time, and it had nothing to do with pot or what I was listening to when I lost my virginity (Ben Kweller's "Wasted and Ready" and the Dropkick Murphy's "Spicy McHaggis Jig" in case anyone is wondering). They write good songs that use really strange chord progressions and melodies and have a way of working into your brain.

I've kind of moved past that stage musically, but I still put them on from time to time. They're great live as well.

Frankly, even as a fan, I can't figure out why they're as popular as they are. The music isn't really that catchy or accessible. I guess lyrically it has a pretty universal message and all that, but I'm surprised it has such mass appeal.

cycarob and ISUAgronomist have been added to the list.

Beating up skinny dudes might just turn into my favorite form of excercise. Thanks guys!

I'll be your tag team partner, would be good exercise. Those ******* can probably outrun me now, so I would need to make sure they are corralled.

6'-2" and 160 pounds of lean, mean, fighting machine!

I do workout quite a bit because I'm too competitive for my own good and have won a few road and trail races. Also, there are quite a few decent athletes at work, and I don't like being outdone. Stupid competitiveness.

Back to the serious stuff.

If either of you do decide to adopt, I suggest doing an overseas adoption. Not sure how the costs compare but I just don't trust domestic adoption. There are too many stories of mothers demanding their kids back later on.

My wifes younger brother was adopted from Russia. It ended up being a hassle, but they didn't regret it in the slightest.
