Very few? Just got a live pic text from buddy in the arena and lots of cardinal and gold.Very few Cyclones in attendance today, judging by tipoff of first game. We will fill in some as our game gets closer, but Illinois is the dominant crowd.

Outside of the reserved sections, I would say it's 80% Illinois or non-affiliated fans.Very few? Just got a live pic text from buddy in the arena and lots of cardinal and gold.

Hey, when Mozart was 37, he'd already been dead for 2 years.Did anyone else just learn Duke’s head coach is 37? And then did anyone else have a mini-life crisis learning that fact?
I wouldn't count out Illinois. They are super young and clearly rattled, but if they settle in, it's not out of reachLooks like the orange will be clearing out disappointed so far. Key will be to have more fans cheering for you than for Mississippi. I guess maybe UK fans will side with Mississippi?
I still say I don’t think their fans were that down on the B12. It was their president who fought it tooth and nail.
Both games are same ticket. Iowa State will fill up their section but not many empty seats elsewhere. Plenty of ISU fans, but TONS of Illinois.TV cut to the crowd in Milwaukee and looked to be a good bit of cardinal and gold. Saw the presidents in attendance.
And doesn't the selling of all session vs. partial or single game tickets have an effect? Couldn't all the ISU fans just show up for their game only at 6-7pm?
Funny when you consider that the ASU president is an ISU graduate and former ISU faculty member/administrator.100% agree. While I don't think they necessarily wanted to go to the Big 12, they saw reality... and the fact that Arizona actually WANTED to go (and has wanted to do so for years)... and that Colorado wanted to go back. The ASU president, on the other hand, was 100% being obstructionist, and would have preferred a far worse Pac 12 deal because he had it in his head that the Pac 12 was more elite than the "truckstop conference".
We were there for the game on Friday but with such a late tip today there was no way we could stay so cut the trip short and came home yeaterday (me so sad).Very few Cyclones in attendance today, judging by tipoff of first game. Luckily the Ole Miss contingent is pretty much non-existent tonight. Haven't seen many at all. More Wisconsin sweatshirts here tbh.We were there for the game on Friday but with such a late tip today there was no way we could stay so cut the trip short and came home yeaterday (me so sad).
