I'm sure he won't T up a Houston player to give Duke an edge. Nah, that'll never happen.
Oh, FFS!! Has he regularly worked in other conferences this season? If not, perhaps Houston can work his predilection for stupid technicals to their advantage...somehow. Certainly, Coach Sampson will know to remind his players not to say anything or make any signals after a great play. Ugh...this sucks.
Never point to the replay screen. That’s an automatic technical (sometimes).
Also Sampson just buries pretty much everybody with the number of NCAA violations he has........
Not sure if you are serious, but his "violations" were down right silly things to get written up for.
He got a show cause and was fired from Indiana, for one. It was kind of a big deal. Plus Oklahoma was put on probation for 3 years.
Might seem "silly" now but it was still quite a few violations.....
it was honestly a bit ridiculous. He got in trouble for impermissible texts and phone calls.
And two years later everything he did was perfectly legal. Dude got caught by an antiquated rule that they quickly fixed.

Terry Oglesbey’s son is a ref in Northwest Missouri. He has reffed many games that I have covered.
Realize I’m late to this but I was banned…
First of all Texas Tech obviously choked down the stretch. Not saying they didn’t blow it.
But wow did the refs completely carry Florida all game especially up to about the 30 minute mark. At one point Tech had NINE more field goals yet it was a very close game somehow. I really think it should have been about a 20-25 point insurmountable lead for Tech.
For such a “down” year the big 12 was competent officiating away from having 2 of the Final Four. I thought BYU got pretty poor calls too but Alabama would have smoked anybody that day the way they hit 25 3s.
