I have often wondered how much the steam from factories on the SW side of CR may affect its microclimate.I thought this was an interesting read.

I have wondered that for years relating to tornadoes. It seems like most following Hwy 30 either head north towards Robins or south of the airport.
The snow tastes like Captain Crunch so that's a plus,,,,I have often wondered how much the steam from factories on the SW side of CR may affect its microclimate.
The extended forecast is showing no chance of precipitation into mid-December. I presume this means we’ll get hammered with a blizzard the week of Christmas when everyone has to travel?
We leave on our next cruise out of Galveston on Jan. 6th, cannot wait, 11 days in the sun and ocean.Selfishly this cold blast is what is finally getting me excited for a cruise we're taking in January. I miss those summer days when I'd take the dog for a walk and not feel the bone chilling blast of cold and my body automatically contracts and shivers. But hey I choose to live in Iowa!
Hopefully. Feels like it's been a while since we had snow on the ground over Christmas. The extended forecast is showing no chance of precipitation into mid-December. I presume this means we’ll get hammered with a blizzard the week of Christmas when everyone has to travel?
God I would love to go on a cruise right now. I'm getting Facebook memories from the ones we've gone on in years past (we always go November/December/January) and it's really getting me itching.Selfishly this cold blast is what is finally getting me excited for a cruise we're taking in January. January through March is the best time to cruise in my opinion, we are getting burnt out on winter and the weather this far North, and the weather down on the islands is around 80. The ocean is still a little chilly when you get in, but you quickly warm up to it.God I would love to go on a cruise right now.
