Dropped an 8 point just before 7AM this morning.
Our party bus driver dropped a 10 pointer Saturday night on our bus trip. Sounded like he dropped the transmission at first.
Thinking about 20°-21° for kickoff temp at game time on Saturday. That'd be up there with some of the coldest at JTS. This state isn't kept in the media guide anymore but I've compiled the list below that should be complete.
Coldest home games at Kickoff
8° - Kansas - 2013
17° - Colorado - 1991
20° - Missouri - 1979
20° - San Jose St. - 1959
21° - Kansas State - 1995
22° - Texas Tech - 2022
22° - Oklahoma State - 1985
25° - Kansas State - 1993
Dress warm. Thankfully not too much wind. Probably wind chills around 10°

Kind of interesting to look at those games. We've done pretty well considering our history, especially 2 ranked wins

I have often wondered how much the steam from factories on the SW side of CR may affect its microclimate.
I have wondered that for years relating to tornadoes. It seems like most following Hwy 30 either head north towards Robins or south of the airport.
In true American form, I’m sure we’ll eventually see someone who loses their house to a tornado try to sue a factory because they’ll have some study that showed their exhaust caused a tornado to divert its course into their home.
The snow tastes like Captain Crunch so that's a plus,,,,
I shoveled my driveway and sidewalk this morning. I'm ready for spring now.
Snow is pretty slick. I was walking my black lab and Chesapeake Bay retriever this morning. We'll call my black lab chaos. She has anxiety etc...well she pulled me as I was walking down the road. Of course I fell. Luckily the poop bag didn't open up on me or anything.
