I was honestly thinking about pulling my kindergartener out of school after lunch, but wasn't sure if that was a ridiculous over-reaction.
I had a similar thought. Wonder if any schools will dismiss early. Probably not.

I’m not great with hodographs, but I look at a lot of them. I feel like any time a line jumps off the chart it’s “not great”.

Ah, the timely Iowa tradition of being done with snow and now moving on to days of insane wind as the cold/warm fronts battle for control. Just looked at Wed/Thur next week...54 and 53 mile wind gust predicted. As a biker I love and hate this time of year. As a biker I love it, oh look, it's 70 degrees outside finally, oh yeah there is also a 50 mph wind gust all damn day.

My wife and I were talking about the same thing. My issue is more with the timing of the storm where we are at. It's at a high risk basically right when school gets out. Not sure I want him on a bus right when a storm comes through. He'd lose his damn mind.

Yeah, I want to bike on Sunday because it looks beautiful, but it's going to be a battle.

My motto when I was an Iowa cyclist was always “out against:in with”.

Might have to check in with mom and dad. They are smack dab in the middle of this thing and might still be heading for home when this hits.

I still think we have another snow. Probably some random morning in April we wake up with the ground covered.

yeah I don't know how to read this and would like to know cause he just named my state too and Reed Timmer kept drawing arrows over my house and parents' area so that feels not good.
