He visited before dead period you can still commit whenever you wantSo, "dead period" huh?
I think that sounds right to me, especially where the SG is an "alpha" / "volume scorer" (probably a 5th yr) who can average 15+ and play 35mpg. The other two can be more of the "project" type (hopefully with multiple years) to come of the bench - as long as they can play defense and shoot the 3.The plan seems to be a combo guard, shooting guard, and a wing. All capable scorers.
Rob will need to practice hiding beneath parked automobiles. What was that about anyway?Jared Homan I believe

Huggie is a better coach,,,maybe?Going from Arizona to WVU sure isn't a step up.
Probably a name that will get overlooked but worth mentioning. From Omaha, NE. Very good combo guard, not flashy but does a lot of things really well. Living out here I've seen him multiple times...
My uneducated assessments for those typically key on body type and athleticism. A guy that is 6'5+, 200+ lbs is probably going to translate better than someone who is shorter and lighter, particularly if they have the athleticism to match.Seems like there are way more mid-major players in the portal what scored 15+ppg and shot 38%+ from 3 than I would have expected existed altogether. Probably a crap shoot to determine which ones will translate to P5 and which won't.
In the eyes of the beholder, I guess. Look at the youngsters leaving Scott Drew's program. National championship coach. Yet, his program isn't good enough. It's getting goofy. Lots of guys will improve their circumstance, just as many won't, like this Arizona transfer, methinks.Huggie is a better coach,,,maybe?
He got his money. Now he can go back down to a comfy mid-major job again like Steve Prohm.Porter didn't get the Notre Dame job and now he's stuck and just playing out the string until he gets fired. I'm not sure he had any staying power at Loyola but, sometimes, you have to know your level and your limitations.
He did the same thing early in his career when he got the Illinois State job when he was nowhere near ready for it and it ended the same way.
