What if we’re not going after big men this year because Jones, Ward and King will more than suffice for next year as long as we get some ball dominant guards and shooters?

Next year with those three leaving you have a ton of PT for that position that you can sell whereas you don’t have that luxury this year.
CW may say that they aren't looking at post players but I find that irresponsible on the staff if they don't. With the amount of fouls we rack up we need at least 1 more F/C to be a worthy contributer or we could be in trouble within the first 8min of every game

We have Lipsey, Williams and Jelani for guards. We need as many guards as we can get our hands on

I took CW's comment to mean the interest we are getting is from guards.

The staff can reach out to posts, but if interest isn't there, then not much a staff can do. As much as college hoops is a guards game, really solid bigs are few, but in great demand.

Or the staff might be happy with Jones, Ward, King, Momcilovic, Biliew and Fish to play the 2 post spots.

Also, not saying commitments were made to Biliew or Momcilivic on playing time, but maybe staff wants to give them every chance to earn playing time as freshman in competition with King, Jones and Ward.

I understand everyone looking for the next Osun but I really do think Ward was brought into be that guy this year and help bridge to JT Rock.
The staff is comfortable with Jones and Ward manning the post and must have sold both on returning in that roles in there post season interview. I suspect they would have transferred if they thought another post was going to be brought in to start over them. Not to mention there aren't an abundance of Centers in the portal that are better then what ISU has I've seen.

Sign me up for that right now

Agree. Looking at our current roster makeup...

3 guards: Tamin, Jeremiah Williams, Jelani Hamilton
1 wing: Demarion Watson
6 frontcourt players: Robert Jones, Hason Ward, Tre King, Omaha, Milan, Kayden Fish

Looking at our guards one is coming off an achilles tear and one is a true freshmen. We need at least one more dependable guard and probably two. The emphasis will be on adding to the backcourt and perimeter scoring.

If you have three guys in Ward Jones and King that can play the 5, that’s more than enough fouls to go around.
