If there are stories out there of an unconfirmed commitment why can’t they just be labeled as such? Deleting threads without explanation just feels like being sneaky on purpose.

A kid isn't going to not choose ISU then retract it bc someone might have tweeted it early..
In my opinion, WRNL should stick to the fun natures stories they are good at. They’re not a news source. I’m guessing someone heard he committed through the grapevine and they wanted to be the first on the beat. They likely got told to take it down from someone at ISU and to wait for official announcement from JCL.
Who was the recruit a few years back CF broke the commitment news on before the player announced?

Nah it's wasn't him. I think maybe Jared broke the news in an article and deleted it not long after it was published. I think the kid stayed committed but people were salty. Just can't remember who it was.
They should have the decency to allow the kid to announce.
I guess I’m not super shocked as he’s a sit 1 play 1 heading to his 3rd school but kinda figured some bigger names to be involved

His announcement was the best, where every single reason he gave for UNLV fit Fred and ISU, and none fit UNLV.
