Disagree. Sometimes less is more. I think the helmet "pops" less with matching pants unless the color is white or black. But I'm all for switching it up every once in a while. I think a little variety would make a lot of people happy.

Bingo. I don't believe anyone is asking for a complete overhaul of logos or one set uniform. It would just be nice to have something unique at least once in a while, whether it be an alternate or throwback or something.
Let's say a partial overhaul. The block I-State is great, but it should be stenciled when on a helmet. The current "head" & "walking" Cys are blah. The updated funnel & classic walking Cy would be a better sell mark my words.
it was kind of hard to see the tornado on the jersey before so i made that a little more contrasted as well as mirroring the helmet stripe on the pants.
Ah- the pants look much better with the stripes. If you're not completely annoyed yet, could we see this with a road jersey??
I've seen a lot of uniform concepts in the past but these last two that you kicked out are spot-on perfect for me! I'd LOVE to see these as our road/home unis and helmets. I don't know if it'd do any good or not but JP...at very the least...needs to see these uniforms (and especially the helmet). This is the look that Iowa State should have.

I have stared at these uniforms for hours, and I JUST noticed the subtle tornado on the jersey.
What would they look like with red/white pants for the road set up. i always liked the red helmet, white jersey, red pant look for ISU, especially down in Austin.
Now that you've added the pants stripes to match the helmet, try the shoulder-tubing on the jersey.
Also, if my vision is reliable, there's narrow gold trim on the cardinal numbers w/ the white jersey. Can white be added to the gold numeral on the cardinal jersey.
I don't want too much white accenting to detract from the main design, but subtle is OK.

not really sure what you mean by 'shoulder tubing?' personally, i think the white trim on the front elements is a little distracting but heres the mock:

The white pants look great too! I actually prefer the yellow gold helmet, but can you humor us by flipping the colors? Red helmet/yellow logo, white jersey, red pants (with stripes).
