Let me preface this by saying, amestoplease you've done a fantastic job...and I realize you were just catering to someone's request...

But this is my least favorite design so far...I think the helmet has to match at least the jersey or the pants otherwise it's too busy...yellow/gold helmet, white jersey, and cardinal pants makes for too many dominate colors...nothing seems to go together.

Once again amestoplease, great job! I think your yellow/gold helmet, cardinal jersey with yellow/gold pants was my favorite...although part of me still prefers a cardinal helmet for some reason...

I think the yellow helmet looks FANTASTIC with cardinal jersey and pants. Would love to see the red alternate version though.

Keep bumping this thread, people. Start the revolution. And to reiterate:

No one is suggesting we get rid of the block I-State as the primary logo. Primary logos don't HAVE to be on the helmet.

I love that Helmet so much. I agree completely that the primary logo does not need to be on the helmet. Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama, Penn State, Florida State, I mean you can go on for a while.

If our uniforms and helmets were like this wed probably get 2-3 more recruits we normally wouldn't and I'm not kidding. Kids these days want to look cool on TV. Art Briles changing the UNIs says it helped them. Too bad CPR is so damn stubborn

It's not as if the changes suggested here are revolutionary anyways. We're still favoring a clean, traditional look without severely altering our current logo or color scheme: Bring back the funnel. Bring back yellow/gold helmets. Bring back walking Cy. Stencil the block I-State when on a helmet. Explore the mixing & matching that countless other schools enjoy.

Hey amestoplease try throwing some Jack Trice strips on the outer shoulders there to see what it looks like.

That could be interesting. Would make them completely unique to any other unis in the country and might also go well with the cyclone on the helmet, and of course the tie in to our stadium's namesake. I really hope the football program is using the opportunity to upgrade the unis along with the upgrade to the stadium.

The white pants look great too! I actually prefer the yellow gold helmet, but can you humor us by flipping the colors? Red helmet/yellow logo, white jersey, red pants (with stripes).
