NBA: *** NBA Playoffs Thread V2.0 ***

Why would Spoelstra be on the hot seat if they lose? Popovich went 5 years withough winning it, why wasn't he on the hot seat? I guess being young and having Lebron James makes you a terrible coach? This is their 3rd straight finals appearance.

And if they go 1-2 in those three appearances then that's why he's on the hot seat. Look, the window to win is only open for so long and I thought it was pretty clear in the aftermath of The Decision that it was championship or bust as long as this group was together. If they come up short tonight then there has to be a fall guy, and the fall guy is usually the coach. It's not a question of his coaching ability. Good coaches get fired all the time. Ask George Karl.

What adjustments should he make?
Showing different looks at Duncan. You can't just sit and let him pick you apart one-on-one.

Get Chalmers the ball on the run and get going the other direction before the Spurs get a chance to set their defense and clog the middle.

Release 3 and send 2 to the offensive boards instead of releasing 4 and having the softest player on the court going to the offensive boards (Bosh). For being a supposed defensive team, you should be able to stop 4 with 3 no problem.

LeBron has a legit gripe. He needs to quit ******** but he is getting bent over the barrel.

He pushed a player down the entire length of the floor earlier in the game...then the foul was on that player, nobody else in basketball is allowed to do that.

Why doesn't Lebron play with this intensity all the time? That last sequence shows why he's the best there is right now. Aside from him traveling.

Oh dear.....way too much time left. Got to stop the bleeding.
