NBA: *** NBA Playoffs Thread V2.0 ***

This is why I laugh when people say college basketball needs the NBA refs. They're just as awful if not more awful than the NCAA refs. These guys are terrible.

I haven't seen a single NBA game this season officiated as poorly as every ISU/KU game of the past decade.

The '06 finals and the Kings/Lakers finals were horrendous, but outside of that I think it's drastically better. Tonight's just not a good night so far for the closet Heat fans.

It's been a poorly officiated game across the board. But Jeff Van Gundy just made an excellent point - the Spurs play through the bad calls, and the Heat let the bad calls affect their game. That's been the difference.

Why would Spoelstra be on the hot seat if they lose? Popovich went 5 years withough winning it, why wasn't he on the hot seat? I guess being young and having Lebron James makes you a terrible coach? This is their 3rd straight finals appearance.

Having 3 hall of famers and a regular all-star, along with the terrible in-game coaching, he should be. Nope, lets blame Bosh. lol.

Adjustments. They don't make them. He just tries to out-talent other teams.

Can the Spurs hold this 10 point lead? I don't know. The Heat are going to really clamp down on defense. Though the 4 fouls on Wade could become a problem.

Popovich does allow that. Duncan, Ginobili, Parker and Danny Green complain all the time.

Wade brings nothing to this team that LeBron can't do better. They would be better off with a young inside-out type player that can play a little D.
