That's a nice opinion and all, but since the 1983 season, home teams are 46-10 in playoff Game 7s.

It does drive home the point that historically and statistically speaking the Spurs absolutely want nothing to do with a game 7, though.
But it is interesting that it doesn't really jibe with how this series has played out; neither team has played two good games in a row, let alone won back to back games. Even more interesting is the fact that the Heat haven't won consecutive games since the middle of May. And they haven't lost consecutive games since mid January. It's a fluky thing, but if the pattern holds then we're looking at a Heat win tonight followed by a Spurs win in game 7. Which would be awesome.

It does smell fishy. The thing with Crawford is he loves to be the center of attention. I don't think he has anything out for either team but he would love nothing more than to make a late pivitol call in a tight game. That could favor either team. He was bailed out when he reffed game 2 because it wasn't close late.
