Kyrie is supposedly out until January still recovering from the game 1 injury. I heard they were gonna lower LeBron's minutes next year but that's probably out the window until Kyrie comes back.

If everybody else is back on board they should be able to manage LeBron's minutes.

Agreed. The East is still weak enough that I can't imagine another team running away with the #1 seed while the Cavs wait on Kyrie and ease Lebron's workload. Get back to full strength by late January or early February and that leaves plenty of time for them to chase the top seed in the conference.
