Internet. Other TV stations, some of whom are dedicated to weather. Radio Stations. Looking out the damn window.

So is FOX 17 uncaring since they arent covering this tornado over 2 hours away from Des Moines ?

Nothing frustrates me more than when people b**** and complain when news channels interrupt shows to do live coverage. That's all KCCIs page has going on is people complaining that they need to switch back. So freakin considerate to the people that are using the channel to follow it.

Correct. They didn't get the location right at all. I really don't care what's happening in carroll. I want to know the truth of what's happening in my area and what's going to happen in the near future. In 2015 you'd think we could get things right by now.

They don't have a local crew. Their newscasts are done by the crew at WHO.

Just ask yourself if it would be ok if I insulted your wife and criticized her. You do understand that these are real people right? This isn't about getting viewers and sensationalism. All they care about is keeping people alive. They don't make **** up to scare people.

What wasn't consistent? No one promised an exact location for storms. Thats impossible. They did says there would be severe weather today. Guess what? They were right.
