So where is this round? Just looked at the radar and it looks like nothing is going to hit Des Moines. I'm about to the point where Im not even going to pay attention to the dumb **** news folks
Im curious to what was lost with them letting you know there is a chance of severe weather? I mean, there are two tornadoes on the ground right now north of Carroll. I guess they didnt get the exact location right.
Correct. They didn't get the location right at all. I really don't care what's happening in carroll. I want to know the truth of what's happening in my area and what's going to happen in the near future. In 2015 you'd think we could get things right by now.
KCCI is a mess right now, said the tw was cancelled abruptly while a tornado was confirmed on the ground and went back to programming. Then they are saying that a tw effective until 8:15 was no longer warned when everything else I see is showing it's still warned. Weird.
I didn't say I didn't care about the people. I'm talking weather. Don't turn this around on me mister.
I still don't know how kcci considers themselves the top news channel in Iowa. They are always 50/50 at best
KCCI just tweeted that there is a Tornado on the ground near Lake City. Better late then never I guess...
So the forecast says no rain the next two days. What are you willing to bet against that?
I don't do this for a living but am married to someone that does. I find it funny when people criticize and talk about sensationalizing. These people are trying to keep people safe. My advice...if you arent close to it keep your mouth shut.
Do you know how many different variables there are in weather conditions? This isn't making a cheeseburger.
Nothing frustrates me more than when people b**** and complain when news channels interrupt shows to do live coverage. That's all KCCIs page has going on is people complaining that they need to switch back. So freakin considerate to the people that are using the channel to follow it.
