I have been monitoring their coaching search thread on 247, and the prevailing emotion right now is relief. What's really sad about this, is that Penn State fans will be disappointed in the hire.
Very good - he just signed an extension but I'm not sure that matters. We've hired a couple of his assistants recentlyWith David Cook coming in, how good is the current NDSU coach?
They will love him soon enough. What's really sad about this, is that Penn State fans will be disappointed in the hire.
NIL have money for locker room towels?Mark Mangino come on down.
Just based on interactions on reddit (so take that for what it’s worth) I would say the fan base has done a pretty good job cutting that cancerous culture out and has had much more of a reckoning over it. There are still some paterno truthers, but I think they’ve been pretty sidelined.but is the culture that covered it up for decades and still hasn't owned up to it?
I doubt it
Sh*tNIL have money for locker room towels?
I struggle to see Scheelhase coming back from the NFL. He's probably an NFL HC in a decade and he's with McVey which is the best training there is.
Plus, all the teams have to play by the same rules.
I’m very familiar with the Missouri Valley. NDSU has had a string of coaches the past 15 years that are highly thought of and extremely successful. But none more so than the current coach. He’s a great guy, a great coach, and a players coach. With David Cook coming in, how good is the current NDSU coach?
I doubt it. At least not until he loses a game they think he should win. I'm sure this process has humbled them some. What's really sad about this, is that Penn State fans will be disappointed in the hire.
