It'd be baffling to me to put so much importance on the AD as to have a clause reducing his buyout if Pollard is no longer the AD, just to coach for an AD who has shown gross incompetence and likely has days left in his tenure.

Big Games doesn't necessarily mean top ten. We lose big momentum games like ASU this year and Cincy. Games when the pressure is big, he is small.

There were 4 jobs I always thought he would leave for and this is one. The Iowa State job is still a fantastic job and we will have great candidates. Most important thing Pollard will ever do is this hire, can’t miss on this.
