I’m not seeing that, but the overall plot is an average high school kid learning to have faith in himself and overcome challenges. He made baby steps in Homecoming, then that started to crystallize on the bridge in Far From Home. It’s a process I expect to see pay off in No Way Home, when he learns to fully embrace the mantle of “hero”.
Is that what you’re referring to?
If so, I think they’re just showing that it’s a process. A concept which should resonate with Cyclone fans.
(BTW, that’s as opposed to having Peter Parker morph into a super cool party animal practically overnight, just because he got bitten by a spider)
