Lucca signs in Germany

good thing he got a hair cut when he got here. looks like the biggest tool i have ever seen in this picture.

SOMEONE is full of crap: "Getting him like this wasnt planned since we wanted him to finish his college season and come next season. Now we can have him get into our system without any pressure. This way, he can get used to being in Berlin and get used to our playing system', stressed Henning Harnisch"

well ****...... even though we do not have him now i do not think he was a huge factor to the team, he would hit the occasional 3 but i think SC can step up and take his role now.

I also think SC has waayyy more potential and ability than Lucca does or did...

Wow, the article said that the club he signed with had wanted him to complete his college season. A bit contradictory to what we have heard? I think so.

"He once scored 106 points in a youth game when he was 16 years old"

Wow if true....

'We are happy to have won him for our program. Getting him like this wasnt planned since we wanted him to finish his college season and come next season. Now we can have him get into our system without any pressure. This way, he can get used to being in Berlin and get used to our playing system', stressed Henning Harnisch.

They didn't want him to return like this? But in the next sentence they're happy he's there - that he can pick up their system earlier and have more time in it?

Me thinks Henning is full of it.

If you break that down, that's at least 36 shots taken and there's no way he went 36 of 36....that's what blows my mind, is how many shots he attempted.

Disagree. SC is a solid player but I'd take Lucca over him. But we don't have that choice and I am very happy we have SC. He plays hard and smart. Hopefully the extra time on the court helps his confidence and he can play a big role on the team

A couple of years ago when he was on his year of suspension, he fired off about 20 3's or so before a game (I want to say it was Texas). He made probably 16 or 17 of them, since he was unguarded. If he didn't have anyone in his face and took maybe 45 shots, I could see him hitting that easily.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. However, sometimes when Germans speak English (I deal with a couple of German vendors), things don't come out quite right, and you get confusing and seemingly contradictory statements from time to time.

And we know that he didn't shoot any free throws or two point shots! :biglaugh:

it's pointless to try to figure out who's lying.
The team/league has as much reason if not more than the player.
They want their players to be able to come over for seasoning.
******* where you eat could cause the avenue to be more
dificult. Not trying to Defend Lucca but I wouldn't be suprise.
Plus the next line makes it out as a positive that he's there now.
