Not into myself, but wow for some judgmental folks(wanted to use a stronger word here) in this thread.
Yeah I know what it is, just wanted to reference Dean and the episode that was LARPing.
I played a lot of Dungeons and Dragons in high school and college. 25 years ago, it was looked at a lot the same as larping in now. Nobody I ever gamed with, myself included, was ever found wanting for friends. Some guys had more luck with girls than others. But ****, that's part of being a teenager.
All that said, I love this video as I'm everyone in it. I'm both the beer swilling guy in an old Oldsmobile and also the geek who owns two swords.

Use whatever strong word you want...when a grown-*** man plays dress up and play fight, that's dorky. I mean, if that's your thing, let your freak flag fly, but I'll still call you a dork.
Pretty sure LARPing was the reason there was an evacuation at the library about a year ago because one of the LARPers left one of their toys near the building.
And an entire society of fake kingdoms that are war with each other, which is apparently a fairly serious matter to those involved.
Is smelling bad and having dirty carpet a prerequisite for owning a sword? Honest question.
You mean scenario paintball guy and his sniper outfit. Don't lump the tournament guys in with them.
Like it matters. Everyones doing there best to mime what they've seen special forces do on TV. Deep down everyone's daydreaming they are part of seal team 6 taking down bin laden. Own it and have fun with it.
