I love both QBs, but I read a stat from Alex Halsted on 247 this morning that was very telling why Kempt was the starter.
"On the flip side, the more veteran Kempt handled pressure better, as would be expected. While Kempt had a 43.4 completion percentage under pressure (23-of-53), Noland went 2-of-14."
I'm not sure what Park's under pressure stats are, but it makes me think Kempt might have handled Texas better.
