I take it this thread is 12 pages of trying to figure out the scholarship situation in 2 years. How many of you honestly think this program wont lose 2 players before the start of the 2010 season. IMO there are players on this team that will not get the PT they think they should get and want to play so they will leave. Everything I have heard is McD is honest with the players on their future at ISU and will do what is best for every player on this team, even if they chose to leave.

IF Kelm AND Barnes commit, that will put us 2 over the limit of scholarships. As of right now, we knoq of nobody that is transfering. How else are we going to get these 2 additional scholarships? Doesn't that mean that 2 people are going to be gone? Do you see my concern?

Unless Brackins has said that he is gone no matter what after his junior year(I doubt), and we know Boozer is transfering, it gives me a bad taste in my mouth. We are offering scholarships we don't have

I don't care if you like it or not, as long as we can replace players with better players within the NCAA rules like the Dukes do it than so be it. Welcome to wanting to become a big time D1 program. I would think thats what everyone wants.

You talk like you know all of the conversations coach McD has had with every one of the players.

I would also like to thank him for calling me a child. I had been taking life a little too seriously lately, glad I'm back to my roots.

I worded that wrong: He is on the verge of several more offers, but ISU is still solidly in the lead. He is waiting to make sure he makes the right choice.

W/ Colvin signing, I would not be surprised if he is now. I am guessing that is why he has not committed. We don't have room for him now.
