Has point spread changed, then we will know JJ s status. Want him to play, but if it hurts him later on, sit.

If I had never seen him play and just read this post, I'd look at the roster and wonder why Mulder doesn't replace Jefferson in the starting lineup!
Look, I've yelled my TV when he's turned the ball over. There have been frustrating moments, even a couple of frustrating games. But if you were to track ever time he's touched the ball over the season and sorted by positive, neutral, and negative outcomes, I believe the positive dwarf the negative. He touches the ball A LOT! Which means more opportunities for a bad outcome. Compare that to Heise, for example. The vast majority of Nate's touches result in a neutral outcome. He catches a pass, then passes it off. Joshua is depended on for making plays and he's done so all year.

Fair…it’s 2.5…higher than Toure in 2nd at 1.7.There's a lot going on with your post. But I feel like the bolded part here undermines any credibility the rest of it might have, because this stat is either lying, making things up, or just ridiculous hyperbole. Jefferson has averaged 2.5 turnovers per game this season, and 2.8 in conference play.
Jefferson's turnover rate this year for the whole season and for conference play alone are actually lower than Lipsey's respective turnover rates last season. I assume you also complained about Lipsey handling the ball too much last year?
We’re an elite team with JJeff …. And Toure being confident and knocking down shots. Toure being a threat without Jefferson has been -in my opinion- the difference. Along with Heise being more aggressive. We're a very good team without Jefferson. We're an elite team with him.
Unfortunately, I’m not in the building or in contact with Joshua and the Staff!Assuming best case scenario, what level of performance can we expect? 80%? Will he be able to be an effective defender and rebounder?
I wonder if that is the same timeframe in the playoffs...The average downtime for a mild low ankle sprain in the NBA is 1-2 weeks.
Oh great, now everybody thinks they are an MD...I was giving my opinion as an expert but until that MRI comes out the best you can do is an educated guess
Isn’t a sprain, by nature, structural damage?Unfortunately, I’m not in the building or in contact with Joshua and the Staff!
I will say, lower ankle sprains , which it looks like what JJ is dealing with, are less invasive and recovery can be quite quick….if there is no structural damage.
High ankle sprains involve bigger ligaments and also tend to involve some tendon/muscular strain , both of which make the healing process longer.
No structural damage from the MRI is first order of business.
Which is a more concise and clear way to say option 2.I think it's just cope from the fans who want it to be true.
Both teams got away with a lot, but I agree. The white guy with the wavy locks was absolutely incredulous after getting called for a hold on MM. "I have been doing that all game, why is that a foul now?!"I think if we get refs who call ticky tack fouls we might be in trouble if we play with the same speed and intensity we did against Kentucky.
I feel like we got away with a lot, not saying we were necessarily fouling a lot but you get the wrong refs and they'll see it differently.
Milan is often first man back to protect/stop against breaks, so if he crashes the boards??, this also allows Tamin and Toure to dribble drive and crash the offensive boards. To me, JJ was most outstanding is 3 areas: drawing FT, assists, DRB.
These 3 categories need to increase in the tournament by others (and they have).
Regarding Milan + Blake + Dom1 + Dom2: each of these 4 players have increases in all 3 areas.
Blake has 10 assists in 2 games. Milan and Nelson each have 7 FTA. Blake and Milan
each have 8 DRB. These role expansions need to continue. I would like to see JJ-style drives to the basket by Blake and Pleta (if this is in their skillset). Milan needs to crash the boards. Nelson needs to drive the lane in transition. Toure needs to be more aggressive on pullups, blowbys, and 3 pointers. It seems like Jefferson's domination made the rest of team hesitant and complacent.
JJeff is getting plenty of work - more than 99.99% of people do - because he has access to a 24 hour athletic training staff. When he isn't doing that and is in crowds and even sitting courtside of a D1 BB game they want that **** protected.I had a grade 2 ankle sprain in September and had PT. my PT said the Rest part was outdated for sprains and I should move it as much as I could tolerate, with just simple foot circles and going to calf raises as soon as I could bear weight/pain. still had to ice quite a bit and rest between the exercises/sessions, but staying off of it for days/weeks was going to prolong the recovery or something like that.

I've been calling him that pretty much all year. But I don't know him and don't know if he cares. I don't call him Josh, because I know he doesn't like to be called Josh.Where did this "JJeff" come from? Hadn't heard anyone call him that all year, and CW dropped it a handful of times on 2 Guys like he's part of the squad.
Wonder if the stafff has him putting it in a hyperbaric chamber?Unfortunately, I’m not in the building or in contact with Joshua and the Staff!
