Is this the first game this staff ever played on the road? Totally unacceptable. Kids will make errors, miss kicks, drop passes, they don't
need the coaches making the run further up hill.

Our redzone offense has to be better, We're a young team. Defense played okay, needs to finish tackles. Special teams needs to show improvement that we thought we saw the first 2 games.

I guess the Iowa D is that good? Or are we just that inept and moving the ball? Probably a little of both. But, on the bright side, we are great at accumulating penalties.

I absolutely hate how overplayed the fade pattern is for goal line plays, hate hate hate that play.

We never got any sort of rythym going this entire game. We got some decent plays here and there but never found a way to string them together.

LJ Spearing call...

Wasn't really spearing. He hit him with his shoulder, which was obvious on the replays.
NOTE: Not blaming refs. It was our fault and our fault alone we lost.

No way does that sound like a Hawkeye. We had a shot at it, but just didn't get it done. Lots of improvement, but there's still a long way to go.

What a brutal way to lose...bad play calling, bad execution, bad everything...for every good thing we did, we did about five bad things...

I have never EVER been this frustrated watching a football game.

How many times have we put ourselves in a position to score and couldn't do anything with it. You can call it youth, or inexperience, but I prefer to call it bad football.
