ISU @ Baylor Official Game Thread

It isn't the first time we've been stomped at Baylor. I remember getting whipped by 28 in a game that Troy Davis was running wild...and it still wasn't close.

One thing the Bears have had a big advantage on us is they had played a tougher schedule. Wake, Washington St(they suck), UConn and Oklahoma are more imposing than KU and the rest of the joke of our schedule...

Guess the poor econorny and play of the team means we will not be bowling in south end very soon.

It's pretty obvious to me that they have more talent at the skill positions than we do. More speed, and more ability to break tackles.

Two reasons. #1, we haven't gotten any turnovers. #2, the offense hasn't been able to sustain many drives.

On point #2, after ISU sustained a drive and kicked the FG, the defense gave up an 80 yd drive to run the score to 21-3 at half. Their performance has lacked any energy all evening.

Safety and LB play has been awful. We really need to go Juco and get some help at LB and two new safeties.

So, we give BU their first conference road win in '05 and now they break a 13 game conference losing streak against who else? Ridiculous.

Not only that, the 28 point deficit ties their largest margin of victory in a Big 12 game -- which was previously set against us in 1996.

We will be ok I think, but this does suck. Let's not minimize the effect the Bates circus may have had on the team in keeping focused at the end of the week. We'll get a couple more wins this year and next year should be ok. If it isn't, then we should start to get upset.

After this game, we are definitely in the bottom 5 in the country for BCS conference teams. Maybe we're the worst because we haven't beat a BCS conference team yet.

Could we beat Duke on the road? Could we beat Washington State on the road? Could we beat Syracuse on the road?

For **** sake, we couldn't beat UNLV on the road!

I still love GC, but this is just awful. The shame is that last year and this year we have lost 6 games that we should have won.
