***Houston @ Iowa State POST Game Thread***

Not as much as many here. And I guess I'm just a little more level-headed that I don't have to call for the coach's head midway through a close game. That's just dumb.

Not going to call for the coach's head, but this team is underwhelming right now and in no way looks ready for Big 12 play. And I didn't even attend, watch or listen to today's game to know that (today wasn't going to magically fix critical issues).

Good they got a win, this is a game we traditionally lose as of late - so that much is positive.

just glad we got out with a W, showed some toughness in overtime i haven't seen all year so that's a plus. gonna need to play a lot better to keep it close in chi-town come wednesday. go clones

A win is a win and lets hope they can build on the last OT. It show how important Gil is to this team winning. He and CB needs learn how to take games over better.

how much of us looking better in ot was due to them having mcneil and lewis out?

that said, win is a win.

Barely pulled it out. I think this keeps us in NCAA tournament consideration as Houston will definitely make the tourney and will be a good win on the resume.

The thing that bothers me about our team is that we almost never crash the boards for rebounds.

Good win, but man we need to improve fast for the Big 12.

We won a close game for once, great to see, however, we were outhustled, and out rebounded by the 332nd ranked rebounding team. How does that happen? If you think Houston plays great pressure defense and gets up and down the floor fast, wait until we play Duke in 3 days. It will be a miracle if we keep it under 20.
