Higher NBA Draft Pick Royce or HB?

I dont think anybody has any idea what RW can do. His ability to get to the rim against anybody was huge for us in many games. He never really showed any range but didnt have to either. I do think HB is overrated and RW has as much to provide a pro team after watching both play. Maybe HB has the same problem Jordan had and his coach held him back but I personally would rather have Royce for two years than Barnes. Just my opinion.

If we can agree that the CCL is stiffer competition than HS and having seen Royce in the CCL and HB in H.S. and 1 year at NC, who is the higher NBA draft pick next year if both leave?

I have seen both play in person as many of us now have. I give the edge to Royce if he shows that he can defend the 4 and the 5. The offense is obiously there.

they went head to head this summer and Harrison dominated. Ask Royce.

noted but not relevant

why is it not relevant? and I think their draft position will be a lot closer than most on here think, Harrison's stock is dropping (he is not in the top 5 right now) and Royce is rising...could meet somewhere in the 10-20 range.

Who would put fans in the seats? I suspect that more people will come out to see White because he is so special. Barnes may be better, but he isn't much fun to watch. White may move up a few spots based on how he could sell tickets.

I would take Barnes as high as 8. If Royce was a year younger and a legit 6’8 or 6’9 I wouldn’t hesitate to take him in the lottery. Thread Done.

I wouldn't draft Harrison Bust. Period. Too slow and soft for NBA.

Good grief. Harrison has some great skills. He is 6-8 plus and not even 20 years old. If Barnes is a bust, then HOW can Jeremy Lamb be rated so high?

I would love to see Royce White with the Cav's more than anything. Almost as much as seeing him stay here another year. Actually I'd much rather him stay here but oh well. I think Barnes could develop into the better player, but I think White has a lower bust rate.

I want to see Royce in Minnesota. I'll probably jump ship to whatever team he's on though.

Royce could be drafted higher if he can address his fear of flying. So we can literally say that sky is the limit for Royce.
HB is good but he has been playing with 5-star players that it's difficult to know how good he is.

HB is surrounded by talented players which should make it difficult for a defense to focus on him alone, yet even with that advantage he is unable to create his own shot. He is dependent on someone else setting him up to be effective on offense. He is a below average defensive player.

RW was surrounded by role players yet he made everyone better by his presence. He may lack an outside shot, but his ability to create his own offense and to create offense for his teammates is an elite and special talent. He also grew as a player from the beginning to the end of the season. He wasn't the best defensive player to start the season, but he was very impressive against some NBA bound players by the end of the season.

If I were an NBA executive, I would take the selfless RW long before the self promotional, ego driven HB. At this stage, HB looks like a potential NBA bust to a role player at best.

Barnes first step is too slow, doesnt work on d. Hes a lengthyjump shooter who cant get to the rim.
