Or mediocre college quarterback like Chris Leak. Urban won before Tebow and he will win after.

If urban meyer could make tim tebow look like a decent passer, then he can do the same for braxton miller. Urban will do wonders with miller. He can already run, as he rushed for nearly 700 yards this season, and his system will allow braxton to make some easy throws. Braxton will be a stud in 2 years

I mentioned this in the other thread. I have a pretty good offensive mind. I dominate NCAA12. I would work for cheap (relative to CFB pay scale). Should I schedule an appointment or...walk in. Sorry I'm new to this.

Re: ***Offensive Coordinator Search Thread***

The spread has taken on the meaning and all the connotations you have given it. But, it has always referred to the amount of space between the offensive linemen.

no that is splits by offensive lineman

Scott Frost, not only does Oregon run the zone read type of spread but they throw in veer and triple option principles as well. we have the stable of backs to run that kind of offense, and he recruits wide receivers for them so he would probably upgrade that talent as well.

Tebow played that year as well, and Mullen was the OC.

All Leak did without Tebow was win 8 games per year for 3 years, lead the SEC in passing, and get mentions for the Heisman going into his Senior season....

You think Todd Fitch would be interested in coming back. He is down at USF right now.

Tony Alford would be another one of my choices.

These guys are both running backs coach so we might be looking for a QB coach to run the offense.

My pick would be:
1. Mangino or Franklin - Both qualified and i think would jump at a BCS school with a guy like Rhoads as their HC.

Is Mangino's name really that damaged that he'd ever take a coordinator job at ISU? Don't get me wrong, I could definitely see him taking and OC job before becoming a head coach again, but the man is still a former BCS head coach with an Orange Bowl win on his resume. The ISU job seems just a bit below the level I see him coming back at.

I like that pick, he actually recruited pretty well at KU too, no one else can say that in the past 20 years.

Plus he can stick it to KU for the next decade (if he lives that long).

I think there is a lot of talk about offensive prowess on the field but won't we also need someone who has significant recruiting ties to TX? That was Herman's terrritory, so getting someone with good O stats and familiarity with TX high schools would be ideal.
