Does anyone know more about these Tony Franklin System Camps?? ........ I went to his website and it looks pretty "slick" but I'm not sure if that is good or bad.

Seems gimmiky.

And the two minutes that expired between the time rebecacy posted the link and the time you made this post, gave you ample time to make this informed observation?

He is part of the Oregon system that is doing wonders. Bring that type of system here, get some good talent to play in it and could do us well. Thats why people are wanting him here.

and just what part does he handle?

2-3 days from now you will have some "insider" information that states "EXACTLY" how this system is ran.

Doing a bit more research, it is apparent that he has run many of these at the best high schools all over the USA. As an add on, he has really good recruiting contacts. That has to be a huge plus.

It sounds like coaches and players pay to attend these seminars. At these seminars Tony teaches his philosophy but he also get's into the details and teaches numerous plays. I think it gets rather involved since it gets pricey for players to attend.

According to CW Barnett's high school runs Tony's system.

I don't have any inside info unless you count Wikipedia.

Look like the pool of offensive coordiators is getting smaller.

Chizik is looking for a new OC with Malzahn going to Arkansas State as HC. Chiz will probably be looking for another spread OC. Though he can probably get McFarland cheap.
Chizik is looking for a DC as well since Roof is DC at UCF now. Chiz has Wayne Bolt on his staff still I believe (Director of Football Operations). HA
Funny how different Auburn looks without the 200,000 Dollar Man.

I wonder if Chizik can go from National Championship head coach to "stepping down" within 3 years?

I am enjoying the Auburn news. Especially since we all know Chizik wasn't the real head coach. Can Virginia pull it off in the bowl game?

Rumor is that the Chiz is looking at BYU OC/QB coach Brandon Doman...weird.
