This has been debated a couple of times before. I like my current position on this topic and Im not budging.
What position? That Iowa isn't in the Midwest?

The U.S. Census defines the "Midwest" as these 12 states --
Illinois
Indiana
Iowa
Kansas
Michigan
Minnesota
Missouri
Nebraska
North Dakota
Ohio
South Dakota
Wisconsin
I suppose some regions (e.g., western Pennsylvania with its economic connections to eastern Ohio or Louisville and parts of Kentucky, right across the river from Indiana and Ohio) might try to jump in but... nah.
I think that makes the "heart" (and the hub) of the Midwest somewhere like Chicago.

Cupcake wins have padded these %'s.All time Michigan has won 71% of their games. Until this season Harbaugh has won 72%, which will fall this year. By their standards and history it’s been an average run. Up to them to decide if average is good enough and if they like the trajectory of the program.
Ya, how the hell did Ohio get on that list?
Because the USGS put it there? It's their list.
Some people love Ames. You must be one of them.Michigan is a weird job. Great history, but pretty irrelevant recently. Winning 10 games won’t keep you you’re job and you have to play Ohio State, Penn State and Norte Dame ever year. If you don’t win the Big 10 within your first 5 years you’re fired. I would rather stay where winning is fun and fans understand building a team has its hiccups.

OK, phew, not going to the Lions.A little birdie told me something this morning when I asked: “Campbell is going to be coaching a really good Midwestern team in 2021, prepare accordingly.”
take it for what it’s worth.

Stop with the money. I do not think it will even be a small motivation. History of program, can we win the National Championship, Recruit nationally for 4 and 5 stars. League school is in. Maybe location. Is coming back to the Midwest a priority for CMC and staff. I have no inside knowledge. Just my opinion.
