I echo everyone else. We've had FREE information coming out by the hour (or sometimes much more than that) that we couldn't get without CF...couldn't ask for better or more Cyclone-related information. Thanks Chris!

It's been a treat getting to know Chris all the way back to his CN days around 5 years ago. They guy loves ISU more than anyone and as with our coaches, it's good to have people in the media that are actually true Cyclones.

Same things everyone else has said with an addition. It isn't so much the speed of the info (though usually very quick) that is appreciated by me. I appreciate the fact CW doesn't fling rumors about. I would think that a new guy in this new world sometimes get antsy and through info out prematurely before having sufficient confirmation. Not Chris, no way.

In all seriousness, CW has done a phenomenal job covering the Hoiberg hiring. This has been stuff breaking at breakneck speed, and he's nailing the coverage. Way to go, Chris!!!
Indeed, coupons are the only thing holding Chris back from the top of the mountain here.
I used to get my truck fixed by a very reliable mechanic. It seemed like he knew my vehicle better than anyone else. He also knew when another guy would fix it better or had a newer, better fix on some odd problem I had.
CF and Chris "Flapjack" Williams is like that guy. CF is now the place you look first to either hear the news or get the link to the place that has the latest news. Be it a link to Paul Clark's place or to Channel 5 (both of whom did admirably this week), you came here to find out where to go for the next juicy tidbit.
CF co-exists perfectly with other sites exactly because it gives credit where credit is due - while supplying info on its own. Flapjack and crew have exemplified the words "class" and "diligence" this past week.
And yes, I'm still pulling for "Flapjack" as CW's nickname.

Chris has been a fantastic addition to Cyclone Fanatic. I didn't think it could get any better than it already was, and it certainly has.
I just wanted to pop in and tell everybody thanks for the kind words. It has been a crazy past few days but ultimately, I think everything that has gone down will be outstanding for Iowa State athletics.
