He was definitely the most interesting character in Twister. I liked him in Moneyball, but beyond the leads I found Chris Pratt's understated character just as intriguing.

Is there a reason for that? Do they not like each other? Or was that just too much "star power", and possibly ego, for one movie to handle?

I thought this was supposed to be movies or I would have posted this one. I'll say Paul's character was supposed to be minor. They had planned to kill him off after a few episodes but found that he was playing such a great character they couldn't do it.

For those of you who remember Hill Street Blues - Hill & Renko were shot in the first episode. They were supposed to die. They were written back in and remained for the life of the show due to audience reactions to the early test screenings.

I think it was mentioned in the thread that this idea originated but Jason Bateman as Pepper Brooks and Gary Cole as Cotton McKnight gotta be up there in the comedy section. Every time I watch that movie I laugh every single time those guys are on the screen
