Fred Hoiberg Infiniti Voting

Voted for Fred again. Tom Crean's charity scares me. Tatums bag of fun?

There doesn't seem to be much change in the percentages for any coach. Almost seems like people have stopped voting. Fred is safe in this round, but will be a whole different ball game in the final round. In addition to Fred needing current voters voting every day probably a lot more voters will be needed if he is to win.

Has anyone reached out to the American Heart Association? With the final round coming up, it would be nice to get some fresh voters on the job. I sent a message to their facebook page, but don't know if there is a better way to get the word out to someone who could broadcast the info to a wider audience.

I hope we have a lot of voters out there just waiting for the second round or Fred will be in a lot of trouble. If you haven't voted yet today plaease do so and you can get one more vote in for tomorrow by voting anytime after 11 pm. tonight Central time until 10:59 a.m. Central time tomorrow.

I don't do the social media route but know about everyone seems to so please everyone spread the word. Another way is to send a link to people in your address book and ask them to leave your e-mail in their inbox as a reminder to vote every day. The percentages for Fred and Painter have remained about the same for every round but that surely will increase in the next round.

11 AM today! Hit it hard, every ya...er...

Baseline! (For I! S! U!)

There haven't been many posts on this link for sometime. I wonder what we need to do to get more people's attention. I Google Fred's name and haven't read any articles promoting Fred for the final round but got this article in merely because it mentions Fred's name.

It looks like the Purdue fans will all be aware. Where can we reach more people about the voting for Fred and for the American Heart Association. I wonder if something could be posted on an American Heart Association web site.

I'm not clear if this link is on the Purdue University web site or in a newspaper. The final round of voting starts today at noon Central time.

Update, I decided to go to the American Heart Association web site and call them if I didn't see any mention of the Infiniti Charity Challenge. I don't know if it has been posted very long but they do have a clip about voting for Fred at this page on the AHA link.

http://heart.org/HEARTORG/Affiliate/DesMoines/Iowa/Home_UCM_MWA022_AffiliatePage.jsp

I don't know how many people would find that particular page, would be nice if the AHA would put something in the Des Moines Register even if they had to buy a small ad.

Right now anyway it is posted under news at the lower right of the page.

IF the AHA chose to do an email blast, it might be the easiest $100,000 they ever made. ISU fans have put them in that position by getting Hoiberg through the first three rounds, but we haven't beaten the Purdue bunch for a couple rounds now, and this will be when it counts.

Fred had 53% an hour or so ago but Painter is creeping up. Fred now leads 48% to 35%. I think that happened in at least the last round whereas Painter’s bunch vote later in the day when there isn’t time for Cyclone nation to realize they are going to have to muster more voters to catch up.

The American Heart Association has the vote for Fred clip on Facebook but don’t know how many people who don’t know about the voting will see the link and vote. Only two weeks left. Wish we could get something on the Big 12 web site and could make it a Big 12 against the Big 10 vote. Might not be that hard since Michigan’s coach is still in the running and may get some of the Big 10 vote. The Michigan and Wichita State coaches % is not that much different than it was when 16 and 24 coaches were still in the contest.

Need to start a new thread and let people know this is the finals now. Every vote counts!!!

Absolutely someone start a new thread. All caps. Final round of voting. Need to get a nice cushion to get things going.

Send out a twitter, facebook, etc post daily to remind everyone you know. This is the round that counts, and we can't lose to frickin purdue.
