A lot of thruth right here.
He's a *****. I kept one eye on him the whole game, and all he does is ***** (or pace around with his arms crossed and a scowl on his face)...the whole game (at least in this one. This is only the 3rd Iowa game I have seen).
I started this thread in the second half, right before his T, and in the middle of our opening run.
The guy is a ******.
My daughter thought he was scary.............She asked why would anyone want to play for him when they can play for Freddie??? Agree.
I don't hate Fran. Easy to say after a win at their place, but I've got no problem with his antics.
I agree that the T was not productive for his team. Either the team didn't respond, or he just lost his cool and did it when he didn't need it.

Iowa fans are just upset that Fran was outcoached by Fred. That was supposed to be Fred's weakness.... lack of coaching experience.

He is like a buttoned down suburban dad getting one too many prank phone calls he can't do anything about. I find it hilarious, but I'm sure I will end up hating him if he takes it to us. Also glad that this game can shut that fat face of Keeler's up.
Who cares, each coach in different. Iowa will be happy with Fran for another 2 years, then they will think he is the worse coach in Iowa history. He has a tough job ahead of him and if all goes well FH will have the table set for next year. Fran knows how important winning this game is in this state this year.
Teams respond better when the coach doesn't do it often. I know that this is at least his second. And he didn't really do much to get it. Just a lot of complaining rather than a single lengthy tyraid that will usually get the team more pumped.

I told Iowa fans that I was extremely jealous when they hired him. I would have loved to have him here.
But we have the Mayor, and that's much, much better.

I don't know if I can ever really hate an Iowa bball coach again. Alford ruined it for me. None will ever compare to him. He was so hatable many Iowa fans hated him even before the PP handling and almost all of them hated him afterward.
I remember his "we're the major program in the state" comment. As ISU was about to have the most dominant two years the state had seen in over a decade and has not seen since. No way Fran is ever going to touch that.
