If it were a female cop, I'd say the same thing. However, the fact that it's a male cop punching a female in the head, that makes it much worse. If you have a problem with that, take it up with whoever decided to give men testosterone and make men stronger.

If that was a guy being hoisted out of the stadium and not a girl, then he assaulted the officer we wouldn't even be having this conversation. This is one point where I agree women get special treatment. You can't assault an officer. Doesn't matter what is between your legs.

Who said she's going to get special or different treatment? You're right that if it had been a guy getting knocked out it wouldn't be the same story, but the cop would still be on the hook for excessive force. If that's how he reacts in a high pressure situation then maybe he should pick a different career. Part of a cop's job is de-escalating situations that are getting out of control. He threw gas on the fire instead.
