I noticed that TJ Tampa is #25 and looks like he's doing DB drills based on the pictures. Still listed as an ATH on the roster.

He has an incredibly high ceiling at either WR or DB. I think it is easier for our staff to recruit impact WRs so I am not surprised to see him at DB. That is where Georgia wanted him.

I agree, but a little part of me wanted to see him burning defenses with that speed and mossing DBs.
My lord, could you imagine?! It would have been quite the sight. Our WR room is so crowded and talented though. This route definitely gives him a chance to get on the field quicker PLUS a tall long DB who is extremely fast and athletic, those guys go FAST in the NFL draft. Good choice for him and his future if everything works out like we think it will

I just remember Jay Jordan oozing at his potential to be a difference maker at WR on a podcast. I guess that's when I made the assumption that he's staying on offense.

I would have really liked to see him in the slot. I don't think that he has great long speed, but he has incredible body control and jumping ability. Figured that would help him get open easier on the short routes. I guess he would be able to cover those slot routes really well as a NB type player though. I could actually see him being a two way player.

I think that I see some additional updates today, but I’m not sure if I’m right or if I’m catching them all.

Aric Horne 6’1” 223?
Ar’Quel Smith 5’11” 209
Dan Sichterman 6’3” 260?
Corey Suttle 6’4” 247
Grant Treiber 6’6” 323
Skylar Loving-Black 6’3” 231
DeShawn Hanikah 6’6” 236
Easton Dean 6’6” 251
J.R. Singleton 6’2” 288

sorry, that’s all I caught—and I’m not sure I’m right about all of them being changes.

To be honest, I only noticed this because I keep looking for Will McDonald to be updated from last year’s 6’4” 230.

Check out this walk-on...

State champion wrestler, but look at his tackles for loss. How are those numbers even possible?

Other than situational players like Lanning I can’t either. Did Joe Woodley play LB/FB or am I thinking of someone else?
In this league I don't think you are going to be able to have a two way player who isn't situational. There are too many teams who regularly go jet to have a player playing most downs on both sides of the ball. I think Tampa could make the most impact by being a regular on the defensive side of the ball and playing situationally on offense. If he works out like we think he will he will be a larger upgrade from his replacement on defense than on offense.

Loving-Black seems a little on the slighter side of TE's we've had recently. I know he's still young, but perhaps he's got a little more get up and go to him than the other guys we've had. If Easton Dean is any good at TE, he'll be a problem for opposing defenses in the years to come.
