Cyclones in the pros 2023-2024 (hoops)

THT also had 9 PT in 19 MIN in last night's 3-point loss to the Suns. Shooting stats: 2-5 FG, 1-4 3PT adn 4-4 FT. He also had 4 AST and 3 TO. He also had this swat

It is hard to believe that 2018-2019 ISU team had 3 NBA players. Tyrese Haliburton should had been #1 player in 2018 player ranking.

Georges followed up his game high +/- rating vs. Indiana with another solid offensive night in the Cavs' win over Denver. He hit 4-9 from the field with 2-4 3PT shooting, 2-2 FT, 3 REB and 2 AST (He had 7 boards in the previous game vs. Detroit, like a rebonding boss).

That icy cold 3PT % has chugged up to 32% for the year so people in Cleveland must be feeling more confident about their signing.

The Cavs are getting on track as a team as well and sit at 7-6, the first time they're over .500 this season.

That's how you use The Minivan's quick release in a pick-and-pop:

The Jazz didn't try to ride THT's hot hand in their 2OT loss to the Suns; he did all his volume shooting / scoring in regulation, from what I gather from the comment above. Good day at the office otherwise for Talen: 25 PT, 29 MIN, 9-18 FG, 4-10 3PT and 3-3 FT.

No magic for Tyrese tonight in the Pacers' lopsided loss to the Orlando Magic. He went 4-14 with 3 AST, 4 TO and 12 points. These games will be a rarity for Hali this year, I'm sure.

I'm sure given his early season struggles that Georges was psyched to once again be Bang Bang Georges Niang in Philly tonight. The Cavs blew about a 10-pt lead but came back to win in OT.

Georges' line: 26 MIN, 12 PT, 5-9 FG, 2-4 3PT and 7 REB. I don't really know why he's rebounding so much better this year - Embiid was so dominant on the glass in Philly, maybe - but he's grabbing a lot of boards.

The Philly Sports Network described his welcome like this:

Welcomed back with warm greetings from Sixers players and staff members before the game, Niang also received quite the ovation once he took the court just a couple minutes into the game.

Maybe there is brotherly love there after all.

That's a good point that Embiid probably vacuums a lot of boards. There are only so many missed shots to go around.

Tyrese is just utterly insane, likely the best pro athlete to ever come through the state. Only MVP Jokic is putting up better numbers 13 games into the season. With the NBA in 2023 you're talking about the ENTIRE WORLD playing this sport because a 22% of these guys are studs from other countries.
