i can appriciate old country, because honestly with out old country, gospel, and blues, we wouldn't have rock, or what i know as rock.

but i honestly can not listen to "artists" like Toby Keith, Keith Urban, Tracy Lawrence, Tracy Byrd ... damn do they just all pick a first and last name out of a hat? Anyway, they just really give a meaning to hick or any other term like that ... least to me anyway.

I have seen Garth 6 times in my life. Hope to add a few more times in the future. I really can't see him being done.

Other then that.

Chris LeDoux- a true cowboy in country music. Seen him 4 times. Gone way before his time.

And now recently Luke Bryan, he put on a great free show at the fair.

I can listen to anything by Garth or Chris popular or not. Good stuff, same way with Johnny.

I can't stand much of the new stuff... Groups like Rascal Flatts, Big & Rich, and these new pop country stars are turning country into Alternative to light pop music. Complete Crap.

Give me someone that actually knows what a horse and farm looks like, and will wears a cowboy hat. Otherwise, get the heck out of country.
