Country Music

Born and Raised on Garth Brooks. Greatest concert I've ever seen in KC last fall, I would go anywhere to see him perform again.

Some of my new favorites are Lady Antebellum (best new group or duo) and Carolina Rain (nominated best group/duo)

Also gotta go with Brooks and Dunn, Garth Brooks, Alabama, Kenny, Alan, Rascal, Sawyer Brown, Chris Ledoux, Darius Rucker, eli young band, and Garth brooks.

Did I menton Garth?

ok "4 wheel drive" sorry

and yes she's hot, but the song blows.

I like pretty much all music, but my radio is usually on country... Johnny and June is probably what I'm listening to the most right now.

Growing up I was a huge fan of Garth Brooks. I don't know if I really had a favorite song of his but I always like "Friends in Low Places." I'm not sure who or what song would be my current favorite.

Sorry, but i won't let country have Cash  he'll always be blues/rock to me.

I get where you're coming from. Even though his roots were considered blues/rock at the time, he's clearly country. But if I was a rock musician I'd want him classified as blues/rock too.

You big mouth woman - you long-legged guitar pickin' man. Yep - that's country.

I think this "new" country music I've heard is the worst noise ever made.

The classics, however, are some of my favorite music. I'm a big Merle Haggard fan and Mama Tried is my favorite country tune. I have to admit that I first heard it done by the Dead which turned me onto Merle.

All Hank Sr. is great and Buck Owens is cool too. I'm going to try to see George Jones when he comes up here soon.
