If they actually went thru the interview process with all 5 then I'd be pretty surprised if TJ is still in the running honestly. There are so many questions they would ask that only a current HC would answer very well IMO.
like Fred said in the exit interview and I've heard him talk about many times during his first couple years...being a HC IS SO MUCH more than just X and O....there's a ton involved.

Prohm probably unfollowed Cyclone stuff on Twitter when he realized you buffoons were tracking his follows.
To be fair (and I'm not a TJ guy right now) if they hired Otz they'd have the money to go get a former head coach as an assistant and help him do some on-the-job learning. Bobby Lutz was a huge help to Fred and we'd be able to use the money saved on going cheap with the head coach to round up a high quality staff of assistants.
Of course the flip side of this is by hiring somebody with HC experience you don't need to give them that sort of training and they are ready to go, which is preferable
So here is where I personally think we are at the moment. I still give TJ the edge, and if I had to put money on it, he would be the favorite. After that, Underwood would be the favorite of the external candidates.
Prohm was gaining some traction mid last week, but I think he hurt his chances big time by telling everybody he knew that he had the job in the bag. He was one that was circulating his list of assistants and prefacing it as a done-deal. While it's not uncommon for lists of assistants to circulate (I've seen others), the certainty he tried to convey was odd.
Unless the interviews changed a lot of minds, I don't think Drew has much support. Again, he might have blown everybody out of the water with his interview, but he would be considered a long-shot at this time. There are some donors that view him as having the highest ceiling outside of TJ so it'll be interesting to see how the interview went.
Moton was quite the surprise, but I would look at it with some expectation that it was more for the minority candidate angle. While he's a great guy and good coach, it would be really hard to sell him to the fans.
We should start hearing a lot as the day goes on.

thanks! Interesting on prohm. I would think it would be a good thing he was circulating assistants. Don't we want to know that? Plus tj has been doing the same thing.
FYI - I have a ton of meetings today but will be in constant contact with people via text and email. I will attempt to forward on what I can throughout the day. If Chris, Hines, etc posts something before I get a chance to, I'll leave it be or follow up with additional info when I can.
One of the two is still considered to be engaged.
Regarding Prohm - it's very normal for the list of assistants to circulate (as I said, others are doing so), but unless JP told him in secret that he would be the guy, some of the things that have spread from Prohm's camp are a bit suspect. Just my opinion based on what we know of how things are unfolding.
Seriously, people will never let this drop. Look, at the end of the day, nobody has to prove anything to you. If you want to think for eternity that this was a conspiracy all along, believe what you want, we're better off spending our energy on other things than trying to convince you.
No it doesn't. Put aside your biases. Whoever gets the job is the one deemed to be best guy for the job. Period. Whether it is TJ, Underwood, Prohm, Drew, Moton, or the mystery candidates.
