Dumpster fires sweeping the south this year. Half the SEC will be gone by 2018. Arkansas, Ole' Miss, Tennessee, Missouri for sure.
Nebraska, Florida, and Tennesse are basically givens. I bet all three will try to get Campbell unsuccessfully. Pollard will give him a raise.
I know McElwain left on bad terms with Florida, but I am thinking Nebraska will take him. He had good success at CSU and there was some Nebraska swag in a recent pic of him and his family. Plus he won't have a buy out. Just a guessNebraska, Florida, and Tennesse are basically givens. I bet all three will try to get Campbell unsuccessfully. Pollard will give him a raise.
Florida could be in play for Frost too.Nebraska is gonna go hard and fast for Frost. I don't think they are seriously looking at anyone else. Tunnel vision. Which is fine by me.
I saw on ESPN where they said Florida is trying to get the buyout reduced because they feel they have cause to fire him. I'm not sure what he did that makes them feel that way. It might be just there way of trying to get the buyout reduced.I heard a 12 million buyout? I'm guessing they will try to fire him with cause.
They are pinning it on him making up death threats against him, his family, and players. He has since acknowledged that they were from the past (he made them up) and doesn't want to press charges.I saw on ESPN where they said Florida is trying to get the buyout reduced because they feel they have cause to fire him. Think Flo-Rida is after Memphis coach. kNU is Frost bit but may take the hog from R Kansas. Misery is stuck and Tenn will take Strong. R Kansas will go for Miles.
They didn't fire him for on- field performance. They fired him for lying about the death threats. That said, if they were sitting on a normal Florida season, they would have put up with that.Gotta wonder why anyone would want to take a job at a place like Florida after firing a guy who made it to 2 SEC championship games in his first 2 years as head coach and then fire him in the middle of the following season. The only reason would be for a money grab, IMO.
