Personally, I am not going to switch from my cargo shorts or my cammo shorts.

Those pockets look like they'd hold a single charge/debit card each. I guess you don't need functioning pockets when you have a murse.

True, I don't have girly legs required for golf shorts.

The nice thing about golf shorts is they breathe and they are stretchy so they are very comfortable. I know a ton of bigger guys that wear them. Complete game changer IMO

This is the correct answer. I have about 5 pairs from Eddie Bauer that I wear all summer.

I normally leave the golf shorts for playing golf.

I'll second @CyTwins on golf shorts breathing and stretching much better anyways. They are a game changer for Iowa's humid summer days

Yeah that's me. Having kids in sports. They are like the mini van of shorts. Even though I hate mini vans. I can admit it. I have to carry stuff man.

Now I have to go home and figure out what my khaki shorts are (well in a month when it is warm enough to wear them that is). There is a 90%+ chance that I am going to be wearing athletic shorts when it is that time of year anyway.
