Yeah. I give that store a year. If you want to buy expensive gear go to the bookstore. If you want to buy better gear at cheaper prices go to Dogtown Such a waste of that corner.Rally House just opened up at the corner of Welch/LWay
Agreed. Bring back headliner/peoples/charlie yokes. Or honestly I think a solid sports bar would kill it thereYeah. I give that store a year. If you want to buy expensive gear go to the bookstore. If you want to buy better gear at cheaper prices go to Dogtown Such a waste of that corner.

Thx for the heads up on dogtown!was just in Ames with the fam last weekend
-> Rally House and the MU Bookstore prices are insane. Some decent stuff, but way I-State logo oriented and kinda corporatey feeling to their apparel choices
-> Barefoot Outfitters has decent designs for slightly less. we found a few things there
-> Dogtown is my personal favorite.- much more reasonable pricing and they embrace the retro logos. spent the most here.
Thx for the heads up on dogtown!
bookstore is tax free thoughI actually like Rally House better than the bookstore. Better selection and the prices are similar. That said, corner of LW and Welch? Sorry, but all the student foot traffic in the world is not going to keep that place open. You need customers with actual disposable income. And for that, you need parking.
There's a parking lot right next to the building.I actually like Rally House better than the bookstore. Better selection and the prices are similar. That said, corner of LW and Welch? I must be thinking of a different spot then. There's a parking lot right next to the building.
This is true. And they will frequently do discounts during the football season. This is fair to factor in.bookstore is tax free though
Cys does either alumni or Cyclone Club.Rally House has a nice selection but will not buy unless on sale. They are pricey.
ISU Bookstore does give discounts for being a member of the ISU Alumni Association.... not sure if Cy's lockerroom does but I will ask next time I am there.
Yeah they'll do discounts per points scored (up to a certain %). With no tax and discount, buy after a big win. This is true. And they will frequently do discounts during the football season. This is fair to factor in.
