Again, if we can legally punt when we kick off it means we are kicking off from the 20 and we just handed our opponents 2 points. Not sure why we do not give punting when we kick off a try.

Being illegal is probably the #1 reason, but I think it was a Kansas game where a team did it and the refs didn't notice, so it's not a firm no.Not sure why we do not give punting when we kick off a try.
Doesn't have much of anything to do with S&C. Lot of injuries are just bad luck.We all know injuries are part of the game but this is the second or third time our report has been multiples longer than our opponent. Maybe it is time to starting wondering about the S&C approach? Especially considering last year.
I'm sure every official out there heard about it so they will be much more careful to watch for it and prevent it from happening.Being illegal is probably the #1 reason, but I think it was a Kansas game where a team did it and the refs didn't notice, so it's not a firm no.
Oh, man. Talk about memories!Diehard Cougar and lifetime Cyclone fan here.
I grew up in Ames…
I’m not sure exactly how to respond to this, since I didn’t hear exactly what Bruns said.Bruns mentioned the same thing on one of the cyclone Sundays so it’s not just message board posters anymore.
i think thats just your app. i can bet BYU to win all the way up to 23.5 for +1200.Vegas doesn't even want bets on BYU winning by anything other than moneyline - or my ap wont take them.
BYU moneyline is +125, BYU -2.5 is also +125 and no higher options available.
He we go again. BYU also plays a number of older players (who went on mission) that have had a chance to physically develop versus other programs. We all know injuries are part of the game but this is the second or third time our report has been multiples longer than our opponent. Maybe it is time to starting wondering about the S&C approach? Especially considering last year.
I wonder if we are listing everyone from our roster and some programs list from their two deeps or something similar. Not sure how far reaching this report is supposed to be.I’m not sure exactly how to respond to this, since I didn’t hear exactly what Bruns said.
I feel a need to point out, from a quick glance, the new names “Out” are walkons, and almost all of the other shifts (aside from Orange) are people getting better.
I don’t suppose other teams have three kickers on their list. Or six walkons, counting Konrardy.I wonder if we are listing everyone from our roster and some programs list from their two deeps or something similar. Not sure how far reaching this report is supposed to be.
My bad, should have researched that. ThanksBeing illegal is probably the #1 reason, but I think it was a Kansas game where a team did it and the refs didn't notice, so it's not a firm no.
Bruns basically relayed when he was playing Mac had an approach to develop size and explosiveness but after a couple of years of a slew of ligament injuries they refined the S and C process a bit towards injury prevention.I’m not sure exactly how to respond to this, since I didn’t hear exactly what Bruns said.

Not sure about "this beat up" - every team has injuries. I think Colorado's injury list before the game two weeks ago was just as long as ours.I know we were also pretty beat up, injury wise, last year. But, my memory (getting old) is such I can't remember the years before last. Were we, also, this beat up?
