anybody know how a member of the BOR becomes on the BOR?

I have no idea what you are asking.
He wouldn't? The AD who has in his time at ISU managed to double the athletic budget, built a new basketball practice facility, built a new football facility, built a new sports complex for smaller sports by the towers, is pushing through the South Endzone project which has been talked about since the late 70's and never been done, is a highly respected AD among his peers, and the guy who was the voice of the Big XII AD's during the conference realignment mess? Ever heard Dodds from Texas defer commenting to anyone else on any issues besides declining to comment on Big XII AD discussions and directing all questions to JP? Anyone know who is credited with developing the fiscal plans at Wisconsin that have led to major budget increases, major facility upgrades, etc... that have now shown themselves in the Badger's rise to a higher level of athletic success? I'll give you a hint... He is the current AD at ISU. Strange how things have improved dramatically since he arrived at ISU right?
People are losing their minds over this and forgetting the credibility that a guy like JP has earned over his relatively short time at ISU. His impact on the ISU athletic department is off the charts.
If we lose Fred over this, JP and Leath should be gone. Of course they won't, because the entity that would make that choice is the BoR, which seems equally dirty over this whole thing.
Regardless, why not make the decision in a reasonable amount of time which would have allowed the transfer.
I think in the end, Fred is gone for the NBA due to this. Last week, Leath and Pollard basically forced Fred's hand to not allow Bubu to play with that statement. I believe them not allowing Fred to run his own program is going to be what pushes the NBA over the top.
We're not losing Fred over this, unless he's a coward that can't handle losing a marginal player who chose to do something stupid.
quick question. bubu used his redshirt already. If he transferred wouldn't he have to sit out a year so he couldn't play anyway?

It wouldn't be over losing Bubu, it would be over the handling of this and the incompetence of Leath
To those supporting the BoR, Leath, and Pollard. Are you saying Bubu raped the female in question?
President Leath concluded that the weight of the evidence established that the Complaintant had not consented to a sexual relationship with Palo. The President analyzed the evidence in light of the definition of consent set forth in the university's sexual misconduct policy, something the ALJ failed to do. The evidence relied upon by the President to support this conclusion included medical testimony, admissions by Palo, and uncontested evidence regarding the events that occurred immediately prior to the sexual encounter wiht Palo. President Leath's decision was well-reasoned, supported by substantial evidence, and correctly analyzed the student disciplinary regulation Palo was charged with violating. Neither the district court nor Palo identified any part of the record to support a claim that President Leath erroneously applied the law or that he made findings of fact without support in the record.
