Did you not read what CW just posted? He's expected to FULLY participate in the KSU game. So that means no missed time at all. IMO, he should at least not start the game and miss something, even if it's just the first defensive series for ISU. That was all I was saying. And then you reply to me by saying... "... give me a break on the rings hollow, this is minor. Sit him a quarter and move on." So you're asking for a greater punishment than even I was suggesting.
Do you always have to find something to ***** about? Are you really gonna raise a fit because he was not suspended at all vs not playing the first series?

I have a feeling if he was suspended for the first series, then you'd say it should be at least a quarter. Then if he was suspended for a half, you'd say it should be at least a game. And so on, and so on.

Ames on holiday breaks away from family was pretty boring if I remember correctly. You had to create your fun.

As long he was reasonably cooperative with police officers then I don’t see the big fuss.

Sounds like they ran though, which isn't cooperating with police right there.

CMC should do something just because of how absolutely idiotic this was. These are college aged kids, not middle school or high school kids. Spray painting stuff-- really Brian? C'mon, you're smarter than that.

Graffiti always reminds me of a movie from my youth. The moral of the story is it will all end up okay and there will be like 8 sequels and you may be asked to costar in a movie with either Luke Skywalker or Falcor but then your career will fizzle.

Whatever. I could say the same thing about you. You only care about what I posted because it was "clonedude", and it's SO cool on here to hate on "clonedude".

I really don't care if CMC punishes him or not, but then don't walk around and preach about your high level of expectations on and off the field, Honor Before Victory, etc, etc. That talk either means something or it doesn't. If it doesn't, then it's just that..... talk.

I trust Campbell is much more in tune with these situations than you or I. There's "Honor before Victory" then there's grafetti...

Only in Ames...other schools in the big 12 let you ram into cars and keep driving or run from the police(and get tackled)

Maybe for a bunch of squares spray painting/tagging sounds criminal, but there is fine line between criminal and artistic expression. Guerilla gardening, spray painting, ephemeral art, etc.

You know all of those square dining tables with carvings from students in Memorial Union? When they were carved on as tables that would have been a similar criminal offense, but today they are displayed on the MU walls as art.
